We drove through flood water to Okwagbe secondary school. We were managing the road with canoes ferrying passengers by our sides.

We arrived at about 12 noon.

As we were loading the relief materials into the canoe to take us to the school building, we were informed by the leaders of the camp that about 300 of them in that IDP camp were wondering where their first meal for the day would come from.

It’s a very pathetic situation, our people do not need to go through this unnecessary suffering with so much oil wealth around them.

It’s a sign of dysfunctional governance.
